Wendy O. Koopa is the second boss fought in Wendy the Girl. She is the third Koopaling and the tenth boss fought in the game.

Background

Wendy O. Koopa is one the seven Koopalings of Super Mario Bros. 3, and was the only female of the group.

In Battle

Wendy will try to give Mario "air kisses", which can hurt him. If she takes a hit, she'll go into the pipe in the center of the floor, and hearts come and fly around. After her third hit, the room will fill with water, and more hearts will come.

Tactics

The player simply has to jump on Wendy to deal damage. Hit her four times, and she is defeated.

Trivia

• What's interesting to note, is that the player doesn't actually defeat Wendy. After five (or four) hits, Wendy will go into her shell, and escape. Four other Koopalings also do this: Lemmy, Iggy, Roy, and Ludwig.
