Skies, Beach, Sun uses graphics from the All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3 for the quicksand, as well as the Venus Fire Trap's graphics. The foreground is from ?. The background is a mashup of Super Mario Bros. 3's sky background and the mountains and clouds (recolored to look like sand) of Sonic Advance 2's Sky Canyon Zone background.

Super Mario World's "Here we Go!" is played throughout the level.
