Journey's End is the second level that Mario encounters in Demos 6 and 7.

This level has been scrapped since Demo 7.5 (Cheep Demo), and replaced by A Beautiful Journey.

Level overview[]

The level is easy. Just keep moving, avoiding the Bro enemies and you'll reach the goal. Since there's no Midway Point, once you die you will start over from the beginning of the level of the level.

Dragon Coins

  1. Dragon Coin 1 is just near the first box containing a power-up, there's no way you could miss it.
  2. Dragon Coin 2 is just above a set of boxes containing nothing, guarded by a yellow Hammer Bro.
  3. Dragon Coin 3 is near a ledge, again very easy to find.
  4. Dragon Coin 4 is again above a set of boxes containing coins, it is nearby the goal.
  5. Dragon Coin 5 is just beside the goal, guarded by a yellow Hammer Bro.

Journey's End uses both background and tiles from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Journey's End was before custom music was added to the hack.

  • Journey's End is one of only two levels in Brutal Mario World to feature a Sledge Bro, the other being Chomp Panic 2.
  • Journey's End is one of only two levels in Brutal Mario World to feature a Boomerang Bro, the other being Castle Crush.
  • Journey's End is one of only two levels in demoOnly1 to feature a sunset, the other one being Athletic Special, which was formerly known as Lift Go 2.
  • Carol already had intentions to scrap this level in Demo 7 as it had the 没 (botsu) kanji character in its title in the Japanese version (basically renaming it to [Discarded] Journey's End). This was used to denote levels that were going to be scrapped. The other levels that were meant to be scrapped included: Giant Tree Forest, Skies, Beach, Sun, Warning - Christmas, and the Demo 7 versions of Forest Star and Bay Star. So far, Warning - Christmas is the only one that hasn't been replaced yet.
