Ghost Special (ゴーストスペシャル / Gosuto Supesharu), known as Rickety Race (ゴーストコースター / Goosuto kosuta) in the Plains on Demo 7, and one of the first levels in the Special Zone since Overworld Demo, where it has switched places with the placeholder level It's a Cour-star?.
The Level[]
Another Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest reference level. This time, you're being chased by a Kackle. In order to progress this level, you will need to get Plus Buttons. Getting Minus Buttons decreases your timer. If that timer reaches zero, you will lose your Power-Up (if you have one) or die.

There are no Yoshi Coins in the level.
Enemies[]
- Kackle
- Kackle appears as a skeletal Kremling wearing a green bandanna, a patch on an eye and holding scimitars in a belt. Kackle will be found at the beginning of the level already waiting for Mario and a timer appears above of the screen, which Mario must finish the level before the time limit. In case Mario has not left the zone yet and time runs out, Kackle will attack Mario. Getting Plus and Minus Buttons will alter for how long Kackle will be keep intangible.

The ride was taken from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, it's unknown from where the tracks come from. The level uses a black background because Kackle is a layer 2 image controled by a sprite.
