Bay Star (いりえのスター / Irie no Suta) is the third level in the Star Road. It has a secret exit that turns the level into a Warp Star, like most of the levels in the Star Road.

The Level[]

Demo 6 - Demo 7[]

From the Demos 6, 6.5 and 7, the level had water currents that push Mario arround, the lighter colored ones are weaker and the darker colored ones are stronger. All the level's enemies were removed in the Demo 6.5.

Demo 7.5 Onwards[]

In the Demo 7.5, the level has been entirely remade, now Mario can control the water's level when he touches the water level altering switches.

All you have to do is use those switches to reach almost to the top of the level, reaching the top isn't necessary unless you want to get the secret exit.

Secret Exit[]

To get the secret exit, you have to go to the top of the level and touch the switch there, once you do that, wait for the water to rise all the way to the top of the level. Afterwards lower the water in 2 levels and quickly go to the keyhole, and be sure to take the key.

Enemies[]

Demo 6[]

  • Cheep Cheep
  • Blurp

Demo 6.5 - Demo 7[]

The level has no enemies.

Demo 7.5 Onwards[]

Graphics[]

The level's graphics are from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the foreground, from Donkey Kong Country for the background and from Super Mario World for the enemies. The water level altering switches come from Super Mario 64.

Music[]

The custom music used in the level is BGM 28 (49 in demoOnly1): "Podol" from Romancing SaGa 3.
